- Maintaining an offline-first WPF client and .Net Core backend, both deployed in law enforcement vehicles.
- Developing a Flutter mobile application in order to one day move beyond a Windows-centric front-end
- Selecting SQLite as the Flutter application database engine and integrated the Drift ORM to provide a type-safe persistence layer.
- Working on offline-first workflows and data synchronization, supporting reliable operation in the field.
- Reviewing the Bloc and Flutter documentation, identified architectural issues in initial design, and helped refactor the application into a more modular structure.
- Authoring and presenting threat models for new and existing features, identifying security risks and guiding mitigations.
- Surveying the cryptographic algorithms used throughout applications as part of a post-quantum cryptography assessment, categorizing those requiring immediate or future migration.
- Implementing and maintaining unit tests, advocating for unit-test coverage as a core part of the development process.
- Investigating application performance issues using JetBrains dotMemory for memory profiling and diagnosis.
- Collaborating closely with QA throughout development to validate features, investigate defects, and improve product quality.
- Conducting intern interviews across multiple academic terms and contributed to candidate evaluation.
- Resolving customer SWAT issues in the field, balancing current-client support with planned feature development and maintenance work.
